Pendleton Sixth Form Centre Graphic Design Exhibiton

Josh Siddaway

Art work can strike you whether it’s the use of colour, shape, context, form or process and in this case it was all of them. Not only are his drawing skills outstanding but the amount of research that Josh Siddaway has put into this work really amazed me. He worked with, spoke too, fed, gave to and drawn a few homeless people of Manchester. He gave the people we walk passed and don’t give a second thought, a name and voice through his work which has really inspired me and has made me think of ways in which I can help someone else out through my own work.

The intended audience of this work is anyone that will look,  most likely the people walking the streets of Manchester, however, his work intends to change the minds of these people and hopefully they will want to help out others, similarly to the way it has worked on me.
It would be great if somehow my future work could help those who are less fortunate than I am.
